St. Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex

The Buchanan Hospital St.Leonards on Sea was an old cottage hospital shut down and part demolished in the late 90's. The main building was built in Victorian times and had become derelict since the hospital had been shut down. The building had been divided into four seperate units of which we developed two.

The units were simply divided with block walls and nothing else, we laid all new floors, partition walls, stairs and internal joinery to produce the basic floor plan. New electrics and plumbing systems were installed along with hand made kitchens and quality bathroom suites. Before the project had finished prospective buyers were waiting and they were able to choose their own colour schemes, floor and wall coverings.
